 Grades4Life is a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to facilitating programs and technology for local schools, organizations, and communities. 

It's, "Sharkpreneur" program works directly with youth ages 12-18 to help cultivate and inspire their visions of entrepreneurship.  This program explores the viability of business planning at a young age and helps develop necessary skills towards future success.  Grades4life partners with local business owners as mentors to provide youth with real-life experience teaching necessary steps to take when operating or managing a business so they can be successful.

Epic is all about inspiring the next generation to develop a love of reading and learning.  It was born out of a single question: "How do we make books more accessible to kids?"

As parents, it always seemed strange to us that our kids could so easily play games and watch videos on their iPhones and iPads, but the same couldn’t be said for books. So in 2013, we decided to build the first “epic” reading experience, designed just for kids. Today, Epic has grown into an award-winning subscription service, which gives millions of families and classrooms instant, unlimited access to thousands of books, videos and quizzes from leading publishers to help kids everywhere read, learn and grow.

 Tinks Golden Girls was founded by Tianna Gresham (Tink) on March 31st, 2019, and became an official Non-Profit Organization January 22, 2020.  

Tinks Golden Girls true mission and vision is dedicated to impacting the lives of young girls and empower them to greatness.  It's all about to empower girls in the surrounding communities with the goal of coming together as one.  The hope is to create a strong sisterhood with great longevity.  The organization serves girls ages (7-17).  

KMATS, Kevin's Mentor and Tutor Services, founded by Kevin Allen, is a company that offers private, customized, and practical MATH, ELA, and PIANO lessons to student’s grades K – 12, college students as well as adult learners.  

After an initial consultation and brief assessment to better understand the students’ needs, KMATS develops an individualized study plan and provides a recommendation that would be most effective in helping the student reach their academic or musical goals.

 The WIT Network is a global and local Not for Profit organization providing inspiration, education, mentoring, networking and practical advice to empower women (and men) to build and grow their careers in technology and pursue their ambitions.  They have three clear missions:

1. Encourage women and girls to study STEM and pursue careers in tech.

2. Enable more women to attain leadership positions and career advancement.

3. Help companies change the landscape of gender equality within their business.

 The Trevor Project is an American nonprofit organization founded in 1998. Focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth, they offer a toll-free telephone number where confidential assistance is provided by trained counselors.   The first step to becoming an ally to transgender and nonbinary people is to learn more.

TTP helps to foster education on the basics of gender identity and expression. You’ll be able to better support the trans and nonbinary folks in your life and help to create a safer, kinder, more accepting world.  

   The National Domestic Violence Hotline provides essential tools and support to help survivors of domestic violence so they can live their lives free of abuse 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. 

They envision a world where all relationships are positive, healthy, and free from violence.

Their mission is to answer the call to support and shift power back to those affected by relationship abuse.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization.  RAINN helps everyone including Men and boys who have been sexually assaulted or abused.  Men and boys may have many of the same feelings and reactions as other survivors of sexual assault, but they may also face some additional challenges because of social attitudes and stereotypes about men and masculinity. 

RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.

In 27 years, RAINN has helped 3.7 million survivors and their loved ones.

 Black & Brown Founders was created by our Founder and Board Chair, Aniyia Williams, during her entrepreneurship residency with Code2040 in 2017. 

Inspired by conversations with Deldelp Medina and the experiences fundraising for her tech company, Aniyia discovered the many gaps of venture funding and disparities in supporting people of color. 

Less than 2% of venture capital goes to Black and Latinx entrepreneurs, yet they are the driving force behind business creation in the United States.

The Black Fairy Godmother Foundation, founded by Simone Gordon, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to help Black and Brown marginalized families. 

The foundation uses the power of networking, social media, and influence to connect families in need with people that can help.

Their goal is to not only provide relief but help people to get to a place of stability and equip them with the proper tools and support so they may sustain themselves going forward.

At Yount Black Leadership Alliance, YBLA, they identify, educate and develop young black leaders to have a positive impact in their community and beyond. 

They focus on helping young people become leaders that are college and career ready. Their young leaders are trained to reach back and mentor elementary, middle and high school students as they achieve. They achieve this through Leadership, Service and Education.

At YBLA, we strive to create a workplace that reflects the communities we serve and where everyone feels empowered to bring their full, authentic selves to work.  

At Onward Search, they believe that "Rich Heritage Shapes Remarkable Leaders."

They develop the careers of diverse people, foster inclusive communities, and accept equity as their responsibility. With these principles at heart, they’re proud to use their platform to share opportunities with Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.

Onward Search's goal is to educate and inspire the next generation of AAPI leaders in the creative, marketing and technology space. 

Elevate360 supports the AAPI communities and stands united against racism. Hate against Asian American Pacific Islander communities has risen during the COVID-19 pandemic. We need to all collectively work together so we can stop it.

Stop AAPI Hate's mission is to advance equity, justice, and power by dismantling systemic racism and building a multiracial movement to end anti-Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) hate. 

Their approach recognizes that in order to effectively address anti-Asian racism, we must work to end all forms of structural racism leveled at Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color.

The Asian American Foundation (TAAF) mission is to serve the Asian American and Pacific Islander community in their pursuit of belonging and prosperity that is free from discrimination, slander, and violence.

They hope to build an America where opportunities to participate in all aspects of society are equally accessible, and individuals and communities are not rendered invisible, nor singled out for false stereotypes, discrimination, or hate on the basis of race.

The Asian Pacific Fund coordinates several scholarship programs that provide financial support to undergraduate and graduate students. Each program is tailored to reflect the donor’s personal interests, whether targeted to specific ethnicities, career paths, or backgrounds.

Through these programs they partner with donors to give back in ways that are meaningful to them, and help students embark on their dreams.

MyChild™ provides information on topics from A to Z for your convenience. After decades representing families of special needs children and protecting their rights in the courts and in state legislative hearings, attorney Ken Stern recognized the need for an informative resource where all parents could quickly access needed information to learn, understand and to protect their child.  

MyChildTM, including the website CerebralPalsy.org, its Facebook page, and the MyChildTM Call Center are owned by Ken Stern and serve to make information and compassionate understanding readily available to those who need it most – parents just like you.

Beyond the Spectrum aims to help connect families with therapies, providers and classes for the super abilities' child as well as for the parents and siblings.  

They discovered families of disabled children who did not have a community to lean on or resources to meet their children’s needs. These same families were struggling to pay for additional therapy, special equipment, and respite care. 

The Bachelor's also found that older children and teenagers with disabilities often lacked a social group to build friendship skills.

The Gifted Event

was established in August of 2019 to make haircuts accessible to children with different needs. Focused on creating a safe environment for the family to enjoy the barbershop experience. 

Noble Barber & Beauty provides the space where parents no longer have to apologize for their child. Receive the Gift of a haircut at no cost to them.

As a barber, Vernon Jackson the owner of (Noble Barber & Beauty) saw the need for a place where children with disabilities are supported during a haircut and an environment where parents or caregivers don't have to explain their child's behavior or apologize for something they may do or say.

Emmy Award-winning journalist Frank Sesno formed Planet Forward in 2009 to empower new voices and lead a global conversation on the planet’s future.

Engaging a diverse audience of college students from across the country, Planet Forward uses storytelling, media, and educational events to tell the stories of invention and innovation that can move our planet forward.

Planet Forward believes that Indigenous Peoples play a key factor in the protection of the environment. They are actively fighting against harmful practices like deforestation and pollution on sacred land. 

The American Indian College Fund provides scholarships to American Indian and Alaska Native college students enrolled in certificate, undergraduate, or graduate program at tribal colleges and other nonprofit, accredited schools. 

Their mission is to invests in Native students and tribal college education to transform lives and communities.  Since its founding in 1989, the American Indian College Fund has been the nation’s largest charity supporting Native student access to higher education. 

They provide scholarships and programming for American Indian and Alaska Native students to access to higher education. Once students are in college, they also provide them with the tools and support to succeed. 

Cultural Survival is an Indigenous-led NGO and U.S. registered non-profit that advocates for Indigenous Peoples' rights and supports Indigenous communities’ self-determination, cultures, and political resilience, since 1972. For 50 years, Cultural Survival has partnered with Indigenous communities to advance Indigenous Peoples' rights and cultures worldwide. 

They envision a future that respects and honors Indigenous Peoples' inherent rights and dynamic cultures, deeply and richly interwoven in lands, languages, spiritual traditions, and artistic expression, rooted in self-determination and self-governance. 

NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.  They work to educate, support, advocate, listen and lead to improve the lives of people with mental illness and their loved ones.

NAMI believes a diverse, inclusive, and equitable alliance is one where all employees, volunteers and members — regardless of status or other dimension of diversity — feel valued and respected.   

NAMI stated that the term Indigenous/Native refers to all groups who lived in the U.S. prior to colonization by European settlers. According to the U.S. Census, 1.7% of the U.S. population —or 5.2 million people identified as American Indian or Alaska Native alone or in combination with another race. 

The Center is all about Empowering LGBT people, building strong community.  New York City’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center empowers people to lead healthy, successful lives. The Center celebrates our diversity and advocates for justice and opportunity.  It fosters a welcoming environment where everyone is celebrated for who they are and offer the LGBTQ communities advocacy, health and wellness programs; arts, entertainment and cultural events; recovery, parenthood and family support services.
